Did I write, or did I die?

(Dude, what a lame topic. xP Bleh! Aw well, I couldn't come up with anything else.........)

So, a few days ago I was upstairs reading or playing piano when my little sister runs up the stairs going on and on about this site I 'have to try!'. First I was skeptical, thinking that it was another one of her weird games like 'Pet Society' or something, but after a few days I decided to give the site a shot and I actually like it quite a bit.

It's a writing site, but instead of rewarding you for writing, it disciplines you for not writing. Now, before your imagination starts to get the best of you, I'm not talking about them finding your name, tracking you down and smacking you in the face with a brick. No. This one has three settings of discipline.

1. If you stop writing there is a pop-up to remind you to write.
2. If you stop writing an annoying noise starts playing until you write. (I use this one)
3. If you stop writing your work will start to un-write itself.

There are also goals and time limits you can give yourself, like 400 words in 10 minutes, which makes it fun in a way. And, after all your work you get this little badge which you can proudly pin anywhere online! =D

TA-DA! And I did all that with people talking to me. It might not be a novel, sure, but it's a start and it's getting me back into the writing game which I've honestly missed a great deal. Hopefully with this site I'll be able to meet some of my deadlines. It's doubtful, but what's wrong with dreaming a little, right?
