Look out, Enbrel; Humira's moving in!

Hey, y'all! So, to catch everyone up, I've had my first dose of Humira and it went really well. It lasted 10 seconds as opposed to 90+ of the Enbrel and I gave it to myself. =)

The only downside with the Humira right now is that it hasn't really kicked in yet, that's why I haven't blogged or anything lately. My pain levels are going back up, especially in my legs, so walking isn't always something I can do right now, but it should start to work in a couple of weeks and we're hoping that it'll blow Enbrel out of the water as far as making me better. Who knows, I may be up, running, and riding my bike again this summer.

For the Methotrexate, it's actually working pretty well. We can tell this by how well I've been handling the transition from the Enbrel to the Humira; it's rough but I can still function and get out of the house and all the good stuff like that. The only problem with it is that when I take it I feel really sick for hours if I don't get to sleep on time.

So, to end this strange and kinda rambling update, some things you can pray for are that the Humira starts to work quickly and I get to sleep on Monday nights before the Methotrexate's side effects hit me.

Well, thank you for reading, I hope y'all have a great day. =D
