There you have it, folks, my pets. =)
"That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and wont last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NLT)

I Am a Crazy Pet Lady
I have a lot of pets. 10, not counting the 2 family cats and I must say I love them all. I've been thinking a lot about my pets lately, why I love them so much and why I have so many, and I think I've come up with the answer; I am extremely maternal. I get it from my mom, we'd both mother a rock if it looked lonely and usually do what my mom calls "adopting people" where we start mothering and looking after pretty much anyone or anything that'll let us. I mother my turtle, my newt, my fish and now my lady bug. I even mother my two little trees, though I haven't named them yet. All these living creatures are a way for me to get out all my mothering needs without smothering and annoying people to death. Before I'd baby sit a lot, I watched kids well over half the week and love it to death, I wasn't their mother of course, but I poured so much love into all of them that I got my mothering out and couldn't wait to see their little faces. Right now, my body just isn't up to that much baby sitting, it's a big deal if I get to work in Cubbies every week, so I need some other way to get out my mothering so I wont get depressed and or explode. So, enough of my pain filled ramblings (the weather can't make up its mind this week), I think it's time for y'all to meet all my pets or, as my parents like to call them, my zoo.
Kova, the family cat.
Bach, a.k.a my "Baby Boy".
Bubba the loach! I think I might've blogged about him before, but I'm not sure.
DJ, the Raphael Catfish and Bubba's best friend. These two will seriously play tag, it's really cute.
My neon tetras, I haven't named them because I can't tell them apart and would feel bad for calling them the wrong name. So I just call them "The Tetras."
Remus, my oh so cute newt!
And last, but not least, Missy the Gimpy ladybug.
There you have it, folks, my pets. =)
