Hey, y'all! As of right now, I'm sitting in a spiffy cabin thing after a fun day driving with my family. The reason for this trip is to watch my uncle, mom's baby brother, graduate college with what I think is his doctorate (I will fact check that in the morning since mom's asleep right now).
The ride up was uneventful as far as safety goes, we got behind a stoner at one point and almost hit a deer at another, but dad's mad driving skills kept us all from harm. The day was filled with a lot of singing, dad and I sang "Respect" as a duet and the entire family sang their hearts out to "Don't Stop Believing" "Song for the Lonely" and the Numa Numa song. What can I say; we're a musical family. Some funny mad-libs were made and a few naps taken, all in all a pretty good drive. For anyone wondering, my pain did spike, but it wasn't horrible and some seat shuffling kept it down well.
Random side/end note: We went to McDonalds and I got a happy meal wanting a Batman toy....I got Aqua Man.
