Goodbye Dr.Lutt

Today I had what will probably be my last appointment with Dr.Lutt. For those of you who don't know, Dr.Lutt has been my rheumatolgist for the past year. He was a good doctor; he listened to all of my concerns, always put a lot of effort into making sure I understood everything about my treatment, and never tried to bully or manipulate me into a treatment I'd decided against. But, after discussing how I was doing and looking over some test results, he came to the conclusion that I don't have any form of arthritis or inflammatory disease. He has no idea what's wrong, my symptoms are completely out of his area of study and expertize, so there's really nothing he can do for me now.
I've known for awhile that the odds were RA was a misdiagnosis, but hearing it from your doctor always makes it more real and bums me out, but at least we have another thing to cross off the list. So far everyone's thinking that the problem is probably neurological, so I'll probably be seeing a lot of Dr. Negal, my neurologist, and she's really fascinated and determined to solve the puzzle of my case. Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of all this soon.

I'm seeing my primary doctor tomorrow to follow up on the hospital stay last weekend and see what the next step should be. (That's a whole other post that I'm about half way through writing right now)

Well, that's all I can write right now, my body's pretty exhausted from all the doctors and stuff. As always, feel free to ask any questions you have and thank you very much for your prayers and encouragements.
