Monday evening I went to stand and my legs gave out completely. Since then I haven't been able to stand or walk, I don't even have the ability to transfer from one surface to another and, par usual, we don't know much about what's going on. I have an appointment with my main doctor on Monday to take a look at things and tomorrow I have physical therapy, so maybe my therapist will be able to help some. The current theory is that the spirochetes have outsmarted the antibiotics I'm on right now, so I'll probably have to start a more aggressive treatment that may include IV medicine.
Thought I should let you know, I don't know a ton right now, but things seem to have taken a downward turn again. I trust my doctor, he's dealt with Lyme cases before and isn't scared of my case. Things may get rougher, but I'm always up for a challenge and I've got a very good and loving God on my side. :)
