Thank you for homeschooling me....

That's not what the lyrics say anymore, but those of you who've heard the adapted version of Ray Boltz's "Thank You" know what I'm talking about....unfortunately. I was exposed to this at Timmy's graduation. It was a pretty funny ceremony, not even gonna lie, there was a remade song accompanied by some very passionate fist-pump dancing. I didn't know a fist-pump could be a dance, but it is possible. Timmy, being his awesome self, went against dress code and wore bright white sneakers. They almost glowed and it was incredible. None of the poor sheltered homeschoolers really knew how to handle the expression of personality, so watching them try and grasp it and the people in charge grasp a homeschooled boy not following orders was pretty funny. After the ceremony we all hung out, took some classic senior pictures against a brick wall and ate cake.
Timmy, like Eric, actually finished high school awhile ago, so they're both pretty dang cool in my book. I don't think Timmy reads my blog anymore, but in case he does....
Timmy, you finished high school and that's pretty dang cool. I'm proud of you and I can't wait until I hear about you rocking the face off of the people in Chicago, I have no doubt that you'll do great in college.
