Today I followed the crowd and got a smart phone. So far I am clueless about how to use it and slightly afraid that with one wrong keystroke I will somehow destroy the world as we know it...or that Skynet will activate and Wal-E will kill me in my sleep or enslave me.
Threat of humanity's enslavement aside, I'm actually pretty excited about my nifty new phone. I can blog from it, that's actually what I'm doing right now, and I'll be able to video chat with my Twinny from time to time! Eventually I'll figure out how to use this thing and then who knows what I'll do...maybe I'll stop Skynet using one of their own.
"That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and wont last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NLT)
