Hello, I know it's been a while since I've blogged but here I am blogging. Why have I suddenly decided to blog? Well, my little sister was starting to threaten me and I really don't have anything else to do, so here it goes....
I'm bored. Bored of out my frickin gourd. I have been stuck on this couch for two days now and, surprisingly enough, there is little to do on my little couch island. Why have I been marooned on this wasteland of boredum and lost nickles? I got my wisdom teeth out and now I'm not supposed to move around a lot. It might sound easy, but I live for running and working out and such, so being stuck on the couch is not something I enjoy. Add to this there is nothing to do! Seriously, before Big Sister lent me her laptop I was playing the exciting game of stare at the lamp. It's great fun, I was kinda hoping it would burst into flames or something so I would have something to entertain me plus a little contact with the outside world as the firefighters rushed in to douse the flames.
In all seriousness, though my family's been great throughout all of this. They're always there to get me soup, or ice cream, or (most importantly) pain killers. It's like I have my own squad of doctors/nurses caring for me and honestly; I couldn't be more blessed.
You know you've got something good going on when you've got a family like mine. Sure, we don't always get along with each other all the time, but we've got each others backs and that's what counts. I trust my parents and siblings with everything upto and including my life. Now I know that getting your wisdom teeth out isn't life threatening or nothin', but my statement still stands. My family is amazing and I love the fact that I have them. I wouldn't change them in any way if I had the chance.
Last night my Dad ran to my rescue when the pain got too intense and gave me pain killers. This morning my Mom was there to keep me company as the morning dose kicked in. Big Sister lent me her laptop for entertainment and Little Sister made me soup and a frickin cake! Add to that the fact all of them are a page away should I need something like a bowl of ice cream or a glass of water. Sure, I'm not a huge fan of being waited on hand and foot, but it's nice to know I've got a family who loves me and is willing to put up with me when I've had the wisdom ripped from my mouth.
PEACE OUT
<3 Sara Cate
